The proposed Board of Directors is comprised of highly qualified individuals with unique and diverse backgrounds in oil and natural gas exploration and development, finance, and law. The quality level of the Board represents a depth and breadth of experience that would be expected on the Board of a much larger oil and natural gas company. The Company’s independent Board members intend to be much more hands-on than is typical and will play an important role in advancing the Company’s initiatives.

Mr. Cohen is Vice Chairman of Horizon Energy Global. Mr. Cohen was a Founder of WRAP Technologies, Inc., which trades on the NASDAQ. WRAP is a global public safety technology and services company that delivers modern policing solutions to law enforcement. Mr. Cohen is also the sole Manager of V3 Capital Partners LLC, an investment company that makes direct investments on public and private companies.
Mr. Cohen has more than 20 years of experience in institutional asset management and capital market transactions. Mr. Cohen served as Principal and Portfolio Manager of the Iroquois Capital Opportunity Fund (ICO), a private equity fund which focused on investments in North American oil and gas. ICO’s equity and debt investments included SPVs engaged in leasing, operating, drilling and development of US oil and gas assets. Mr. Cohen also co-founded Iroquois Capital, a leading direct investment fund group which managed approximately $400M. Prior to Iroquois Capital, Mr. Cohen founded a merchant bank which actively participated in structured investments in public companies. Mr. Cohen is active on public and private company boards.

Mr. Langdon is currently the President, Chief Executive Officer, and Chief Financial Officer of Altamont Energy LLC, a privately held exploration and production company, a position he has held since May 2021, from April 2018 to May 2021, Mr. Langdon was the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Altamont.
Mr. Langdon currently serves on the board of directors of Evolve Transition Infrastructure L.P. where he is chairman and an independent member of the Audit Committee and an independent member of the Conflicts Committee, in which capacities he has served for Evolve and its predecessor entities, Sanchez Production Partners LLC, and Constellation Energy Partners LLC, since December 2006. Mr. Langdon is also a director, chairman and an independent member of the audit committee and an independent member of the compensation committee of Gulfslope Energy, Inc., which capacities he has served in since March 2014.
From 1991 to 2018, Mr. Langdon has served in the roles of Chief Executive Officer, President, Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of various oil and gas companies, both public and private.
Mr. Langdon holds a BS – Mechanical Engineering and Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
Ms. Chong is currently a Founding Partner and Co-President of Anchorvest Capital, an alternative asset-management platform, where she is responsible for multiple facets of the business, including trade origination and due diligence.
Ms. Chong has over 20 years of proven success investing across asset classes and capital structures in a range of industries and geographies, including emerging markets. She has built new businesses on multiple types of platforms and at different firms and has traded in both public and private markets. She was previously a Vice President at Dodge & Cox, a long-term value investment manager with over $300 billion in assets, where she was part of the team responsible for constructing and managing almost half of the fixed income portfolios. While there, Linda expanded the ABS trading book from $100mm to $8bn and outperformed the benchmark every quarter. She also helped set the strategy and portfolio allocation for short, intermediate and core accounts and was part of the leadership team that launched the Global Bond Fund. Prior to Dodge & Cox, Ms. Chong negotiated and executed principal investments for Goldman, Sachs & Co., where she was responsible for valuing whole loans, prepared bids and structured warehouse facilities for auto, student loan and specialty finance companies. Ms. Chong started her career at McKinsey & Company.
Ms. Chong holds a JD and BA (summa cum laude) degree from Harvard Law School and Harvard College, respectively.
From 2017 to the present, per consulting arrangements, Mr. Larberg has conducted exploration technical and portfolio analysis at the highest executive/corporate level for Kuwait Oil Company (the Kuwait National Oil Company), Petronas (Malaysia National Oil Company), Ecopetrol/Hocol (Colombia National Oil Company).
From 2006 to 2017, Mr. Larberg consulted with several large E&P companies whose exploration programs were not adding value to the parent company. At Maersk, he reviewed the entire exploration prospect inventory, suggesting needed technology improvements and process/organizational changes which enhanced exploration efficiency, effectiveness, and profitability. He provided similar services to ONGC (India National Oil Company) for their deep-water prospect inventory. Through 2014,
he worked under contract with Schlumberger Business Consulting (supporting PEMEX’s Executive Vice President of Exploration) undertaking exploration process, portfolio, technology, and prospect characterization improvement efforts.
Mr. Larberg retired from Burlington Resources in March of 2006 following the company’s sale to Conoco Phillips for $35.6 billion. He joined Burlington Resources in 1998 as Vice President of Exploration for Burlington Resources International. In this capacity, he also served as President of Burlington Resources subsidiaries in China, Peru, Ecuador, and Algeria. In 2000, Mr. Larberg was elected Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Office of Burlington Resources International, a position he held until 2003, when he moved to Burlington Resource’s corporate office as Executive Vice President of Geosciences. In this capacity he was responsible for technical excellence in the Geology and Geophysical programs across the company, G&G technology business development, and management of the company-wide exploration portfolio.
Prior to his tenure at Burlington Resources, Mr. Larberg was with Shell Oil Company for 21 years. He began his career in the Permian Basin of Texas and served 8 years with growing responsibility in Shell’s Gulf of Mexico Deepwater exploration effort, ultimately serving as Deepwater Exploration Manager for offshore Louisiana. He was named Vice President of E&P for Pecten International, Shell Oil’s international subsidiary in 1993. He ended his career with Shell as part of the Royal Dutch Group where he was Business Development Manager for Royal Dutch Shell’s worldwide Deepwater effort.
Mr. Larberg received a B.S. in Geology from Trinity University, completing his M.S. in Geology at Texas A&M University. He is a past Trustee for the American Geological Institute’s Foundation, is a member of the Texas A&M Energy Industry Liaison Committee.
